Indian Country

Indian Country

Having worked in or around Indian Country since 1994, including working directly for a major Indian tribe in the Phoenix metropolitan area, I have special experience in Indian Country.  I often represent businesses who work in Indian Country or who seek to do business in Indian Country.

In these two decades, I have served as a consultant, civil engineer, general contractor, and attorney.  I have worked in private law practice and as in-house attorney, in the public and private sectors, and in academia, all with a focus on Indian Country.

I am often called upon to serve as an administrative law judge to decide matters involving disputes or grievances in Indian Country.

My service in Indian Country includes membership and past Chair of the Executive Council, Indian Law Section, State Bar of Arizona.  Since 2005, I have also served on the Executive Committee of the “Construction in Indian Country” conference, through Arizona State University.  I also served as Editor of the “Conference Proceedings, Construction in Indian Country, 2004 to 2011.”
