Roger S. Owers provides to commercial real estate clients the experience gained in his 25+ year career as a real estate and construction attorney, construction manager, and civil engineer.  Roger particularly enjoys serving 5 types of clients:

Roger assists clients in large and small purchases of land and buildings.  Land and building purchases require not only an understanding of the financial aspects of the purchase, but also how the amenities, deed restrictions, allowable uses, site improvements, location opportunities and limitations, etc., might impact the buyer’s future use and future sale of the land or building.

Roger also serves clients in Indian Country.  Many Indian Tribes have land available for development, much of it in prime locations.  Roger serves clients as a trusted advisor about the risks and rewards of being located in Indian Country.  This work may include acquiring a master ground lease or ground sublease, a development agreement, office lease, and employment agreements with the Tribe.

Roger provides real estate portfolio management to tenant clients on a national scale.  This work involves compiling the leases and ownership documents into one “single point of truth” database, lease administration, facilities management, and strategically managing the lease and ownership portfolio to maximize operating efficiencies and minimize the cost of ownership and occupancy.

Roger also particularly enjoys serving clients on “high stakes” or complex projects.  For example, Roger enjoys solving problems for clients with projects that have site constraints, operational challenges, multiple phases, compressed schedules, zoning limitations, building code restraints, extensive tenant improvements, and city approval challenges.
